Please join us on Saturday, September 11th at the Buffalo State College
Sports Arena for the 2011 "Kicking for Miracles" fundraiser to benefit
Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. This event, presented by Master
Chong's World Class Tae Kwon Do, consists of a board break-a-thon and
martial arts exhibition presented by students of all ages and belt
ranks. It is high energy, family friendly, and will garner local media
coverage as well as celebrity guests.
Students from Master Chong's World Class Tae Kwon Do ask friends,
family, and neighbors to pledge donations in recognition of the
student's skill and effort at the event. On the day of the event,
students break boards with a variety of Tae Kwon Do kicks, punches and
strikes. One hundred percent of the profits from the event are donated
to Women and Children's Hospital.
Since it's inception in 1995 (known then as Health Kick), Kicking for
Miracles has raised close to $700,000 to benefit the Women and Children'
Hospital of Buffalo. "The experience," says Grandmaster Chong, "is good
for the community and students alike. Students of all ages realize how
their combined efforts can make a tremendously positive impact on the
lives of others."
Help us in make this year's fundraising effort our largest yet by making
an online donation to Kicking for Miracles. And, of course, come see the
action Saturday, September 10th!
