| The Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation supports the mission of Women & Children's Hospital by providing funding for patient care, education and research.
By supporting the Women & Children's Hospital Foundation, you are helping countless families in need of specialized pediatric and women’s health services – services that could not exist without your support.
For example, donations to the Foundation provided for 100 percent of the $8 million necessary to renovate and expand the Variety Club Tent, #7 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which delivers state-of-the-art care for the most critically ill newborns, and the Praxair Emergency Center, a $3 million project completed in 2003. The Praxair Emergency Center at Women & Children’s Hospital receives more than 40,000 sick and injured children each year.
With support from its Board of Directors and many other volunteers, the Women & Children's Hospital Foundation raised more than $4 million in 2004. Gifts come in the form of cash, stocks, estate gifts, corporate gifts and grants from private foundations. On behalf of the those who provide care at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, thank you for making an important difference in the lives of families throughout Western New York and beyond.
