Chester and Phyllis Partacz
Chester and Phyllis Partacz have raised funds for early Childhood at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo for 18 years. It was a natural fit for them not being able to have children of their own to get started working for Children’s Hospitals Kids with their mentor and great friend Louie Billitier. Chester’s Fundraising endeavors have raised many dollars throughout the years for the hospital: Coin Collection Canister Program, Super Bowl Party, Spaghetti Dinners, Cruise Night’s, Car Raffle’s and Golf Outing’s are just some of the events, many of which he created. He has also helped Early Childhood put on Christmas and Easter (Bunny Rabbit costume was tough) events for the kids and their families.
He has served on the Board of Directors and Telethon Executive Committee for Variety Club.
Chester’s free time includes officiating for local sports teams as well as participation in the sports of Football and Lacrosse.
Chester says “it’s great to be able to work with community people and businesses to raise dollars for an important cause – our Kids at Children’s Hospital.”
It is the many men and women of our community, like Chester and Phyllis, who help to make our local Children’s Hospital the jewel that it is. “Hats off” to Chester and Phyllis for their commitment, dedication, and concern. They are perfect examples of the type of people that make Western New York such a warm and caring place to live and raise our families.Office Depot Back-To-School Donation
Ralph Avolio Manager of Office Depot does it again by donating a very special "back-to-school” present – a backpack filled with supplies – for Women & Children’s Hospital patients as they return to school.
Monday Night Mayhem
John Masiulionis, better known as "The Big Mosh" from Monday Night Mayhem— "Home Of Wrestling Radio" dropped by Women & Children’s Hospital to share some wrestling PSP & Nintendo Wii games, along with specialty DX boxed action figure seats. Thanks John, Monday Night Mahem & the WWE for remembering our kids.
Peterson Family Annual Bike Run
The Peterson Family presents proceeds from their second annual bike run in memory of their son Erik Peterson.
UAW #897 Annual Contribution
Kudos to the folks at UAW #897 for supporting Women & Children’s Hospital by making their annual contribution which provides complimentary meals for families of long-term patients.
Wende Correction Officers Donation
Tim Zon, along with Wende Corrections Officers presented their check for $1500 to Dr. Stephen Turkovich and patient Andrew Frelock in support of the special needs and autistic program.

The team from Kohl’s presents a donation to Veetai Li, MD, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery, in support of the Bicycle Safety Helmet Program. Dollars are raised through the popular in-store plush sales
Anuual Fitness Frenzy
