Very Soon the Women & Children’s Hospital will be sporting a brand new lobby. Thanks to the efforts of the Design Team from Fisher-Price who have volunteered their talents and time to create an updated, comfortable and welcoming area for our patients, staff and visitors from the Hodge Street entrance to Bryant Street and everything in between. We can’t wait to see the final product.

The team at LaFarge, the Paul family, and their holiday tree
Thanks to the efforts and support of companies like LaFarge, stories like the one you are about to read happen regularly at Women & Children’s Hospital. We found out about the Paul family at the annual Festival of Trees when the LaFarge team of Donna Ludwig and Kim Paul stopped by to pick out their annual holiday tree and wreath. Monies from sponsorship of trees and wreaths go directly to the Hospital to support programs and services necessary to the care of children and women. In 2009, the Festival of Trees Committee completed their two-year pledge in support of the purchase of a $1.5 million CT Scan — a machine that is already offering significant benefit to the patients — providing high-speed scanning, unmatched image quality, and above all, comfort and safety.
