Arts in Healthcare InitiativeWCHOB 10th Floor playroom window art
The Arts in Healthcare Initiative, established by the UB Center for the Arts, brings arts programming to the patients, visitors, and staff at Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

The arts transform the hospital environment by engaging individuals in creative activities, enhancing the healthcare experience and encouraging physical and emotional well-being.

The windows of playroom on the 10th floor were possible through the combined effort of artists and patients.

Pardon our Dust…..
WCHOB lobby
As we get ready for a major overhaul of our main lobby, Fisher-Price has presented us with the model for a modern, sleek lobby design and will be funding a big portion of the project. This renovation is part of a massive undertaking which includes a new Board Room, 1st floor Chapel, a brand new cafeteria as well as welcoming entryways and corridors.

Thanks to the generosity of the Women’s Board membership (those talented ladies who manage the Hospital’s gift shop), we now have a brand-new state-of-the art conference room at the Hospital’s main entrance. The women have also committed a sizable gift that will provide us with a brand new lobby floor, ceilings and lighting. A gift from the Lenahan Family, made it possible to create a chapel for our patients and families accessible any time of the day or night.

The cafeteria is undergoing a complete renovation which will provide updated service areas more comfortable and informal seating for employees and guests.

Watch our website as progress continues on this incredible facelift.
